Corsewall Lighthouse Hotel and Restaurant
Corsewall Lighthouse Hotel and Restaurant is steeped in history, dating back to 1817 when the lighthouse was built by Robert Stevenson, grandfather of the author of Treasure Island, Robert Louis Stevenson.
The lighthouse itself is still in operation by the Northern Lighthouse Board. The former lighthouse keepers' accommodations where refurbished into a hotel in the 1990s.
Recently Helen and John Harris have bought the hotel and begun a series of renovations, bringing a cosy and tranquil atmosphere to this wild corner of Scottish coastline.
